There’s a road through these rollers: empty, winding, smooth—with an occasional stray dog and Jeep Willy overburdened with coffee bags driven by a man with a large hat and wild mustache that bucks and rolls in the wind like a theme park ride for thrill seeking arepa crumbs.

There wasn’t really a T-Rex chasing me on the road down there, but when I closed my eyes I thought there was. Perhaps it’s my childish imagination, or maybe the aguardiente cocktail-ing from the night before. Whatever the reason, I’m calling this route “Jurrasic Park”—and it kicks ass. #colombia #biketouring #cycling
